Get ready for some serious twangin’ up ahead, because this special edition G5122 has the vibe and tone that will have you dancing the twist until 2 a.m. This stylish guitar features redesigned Gretsch Dual-Coil humbucking pickups, adjustable bridge, and chrome-plated die-cast tuners. This guitar is being kept at our Savannah, GA studio.

FUN FUN FUN…here is what makes this guitar a one-of-a-kind…it is hand pinstriped by renowned Atlanta artist Hot Rod Walt. This is a pristine and exceptional example of Walt’s work. He has been pin-striping things for years (guitars, hand bags, cars, or anything that catches his eye) but this guitar is a culmination of a lifetime of practice and God-given talent.  

The lines and shapes are perfect. His choice of colors highlight the body color of this instrument magnificently. Walt does all of his pinstripes by hand and he works quickly. He painted this guitar in less than 30 minutes. This guitar was painted at the world famous Foley House Inn in Savannah, Georgia where he traded the painting of the guitar for an overnight stay. How’s that for a cool story!

The pick guard is not painted by Walt. It is commercially available on-line but compliments this masterpiece beautifully. The dice knobs and spade truss cover are an ode to Brian Setzer (or maybe Gene Vincent).
